About Me
I earned my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and completed my pre-doctoral internship training at Elmhurst Hospital. I began my professional career as a staff psychologist at Elmhurst, where I worked in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) and on the inpatient psychiatric service. From there, I transitioned to a role at Bellevue Hospital, where I was the Program Director of an innovative inpatient service for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. In my roles at Elmhurst and Bellevue, I supervised clinical psychology trainees on inpatient and outpatient psychotherapy and psychological assessment cases. In conjunction with my position at Bellevue, I was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. I began my private practice on a part-time basis in 2022 and ultimately decided to leave my hospital position in 2025 to shift into full-time private practice. Through my predoctoral training and my professional roles in both the public hospital system and independent practice, I have extensive experience treating and evaluating individuals suffering from a wide variety of problems, ranging from mild adjustment difficulties to severe and persistent psychotic disorders.
